The Stories We Remember Differently

Growth does not require us to erase who we were to make room for who we are becoming. This reflection explores how we can change, heal, and create new versions of ourselves while still honoring the imperfect path—and the earlier selves—that brought us here.
Our stories do not belong to us alone. They are lived alongside the people who remember different details, carry pieces we may have forgotten, and sometimes help us see ourselves more clearly. We do not get to rewrite where our stories began—and perhaps we are not meant to. Becoming is the ongoing work of honoring where we came from while giving ourselves permission to revise what happens next.
